This may be a shock to some of you, but tonight was the first ever painting I have done from life. I always work with photos. Always. It’s definitely a comfort thing. Probably one of the reasons why it took me so long to try it was the fear of not being confident in doing it! It really was very tricky and took me a lot longer than I would have liked it to considering the size. But it actually turned out okay. I can see a lot of room for improvement, and I’m excited to keep practicing it in future and getting better!!!
