I had a ? lightbulb ? moment and thought I should paint a gorgeous lightbulb still life! Such a mundane image can offer so much room to explore the depth and limitations of chroma and hue when maintaining correct values. The reference photo I used is so dull and lacking in vibrancy, but as you can see, it can be replicated in magnificent colour if the values are kept the same.
