This piece is a little different from my usual subject matter - the shadow on the wall was cast by a fern hanging in my window while the morning light poured into my room. I can't explain it, but I saw so much potential there. I also used the palette knife a lot in the background of this one, so there's some nice thick, juicy texture happening here!
